UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
An administrative penalty in the amount of R 30 522.00 BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning y-Law, 2015, in respect of erf 159, Melkbosch Strand for the unauthorised guest house and such penalty BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the said By-Law.
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report and agreed to amend reasons as follows:
6.4 The applicant further claims that the owner never received any compliance notices from the City of Cape Town; a compliance notice was in fact served on the owners.
