RESOLVED TO RECOMMEND
That the lease of a portion of City-owned land, being a portion of Erf 2340 Durbanville, situated at Winterhoek Road, Durbanville Hills, Durbanville, Parow, as shown hatched and lettered ABCDEF on the plan 130008829 marked Annexure A, in extent approximately 715 m2, to Jacobus Petrus Crowther, the owner of the adjacent Erf 2341 Durbanville, or her successor-in-title, be approved subject inter alia the following conditions; that:

A tariff rental of R3 540, 87 per annum, excluding VAT calculated at the rate applicable at the time of transaction, be payable. Rates not applicable.

The rental will be adjusted annually in terms of the rental tariff structure as approved by Council;

The lease will endure for a period of ten years, with an option to renew for a further period;

Subject to such further conditions to be imposed by the Director: Property Management in terms of her delegated authority;

Subject to compliance with any other statutory requirements;

The property may only be used for Garden and security purposes and for no other purpose whatsoever;

No compensation will be payable for any improvement made to the property;

No permanent structures may be erected on the property.
