UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
An administrative penalty of R 1 200.00 BE DETERMINED for the unauthorised building work in terms of Section 98(b) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 on Erf 24933, Harbour Park, Strand.

REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report and agreed to the following changes:

Amend reason 6.1 as follows:
6.1 The current owner is responsible for the unlawful building work, which contravenes the approved Site Development Plan for this General Residential Zone 1 property.

Amend reason 6.2 as follows:
6.2 The contravention has been in existence since approximately January 2019, which is considered to be long.

Amend reason 6.4 as follows:
6.4 The total extent of the unauthorised building work is ±20.02m², which is relatively large
