This week, the City of Cape Town’s Mobile Office will be taking municipal services to the communities of Hangberg, Hout Bay and Silversands. Residents are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity.
The details are as follows:
• Wednesday, 1 November 2023, from 09:30 to 13:30 at the Hangberg Library, Bay View Road, Hout Bay Harbour, Hangberg.
• Thursday, 2 November 2023, from 09:30 to 13:30 at the Hout Bay Library, Melkhout Crescent, Hout Bay.
• Friday, 3 November 2023, from 09:30 to 13:30 at the United Reformed Church Silversands, 220 Noolensfontein Road, Silversands (Opposite Noolensfontein Sports Complex).
During these visits, the City’s Customer Relations Department’s mobile team will assist residents with logging queries and service requests electronically. Customers can engage with the City in a wide range of non-emergency enquiries such as rates, sewerage, electricity, water, refuse collections, and all other account enquiries.
‘We hope to see many residents during our visits to Hangberg, Hout Bay and Silversands this week. Our mobile office team has been very effective in resolving long outstanding queries for residents and we are committed to bringing services closer to residents and ask that those who plan to make use of the services to remember to bring along their ID or municipal accounts to help ease the process,’ said the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Corporate Services, Alderman Theresa Uys.
