Report should list facilities in each ward.

Combined reports cannot be submitted. Reports to be separated for Parks & Recreation.

Saunders beach: used by many people, however, no lifeguards in attendance.

Vandalism recorded as zero (0) on the report: Should be amended, as it is not a true reflection.

Maiden’s Cove: Thanks to Subcouncil 16 for sending their cleaning team to assist.

The games/programmes to be centered around the need/challenges in the area.

· Programmes being implemented in the Salt River area.
· Vandalism incidents.
Cllr Francine Higham:

Programmes implemented does not fulfill the need in the community adequately. Proper resources are not allocated to the programme. Report does not reflect what the programme entails.

Hall bookings should be revised, as there is a concern that the ECD in Bo-Kaap is renting the hall on a permanent basis. Facilities should be shared with all organisations in the area.

Need to see a budget for Recreation, as only budget for Parks is attached.

A list of bookings for events in Parks and Halls to be submitted to Subcouncil16.

Suggested that a paper-based trail of all bookings of the community halls & parks, go through ward councilors.
Ms Mrubata responded as follows
· Noted all the concerns of the councillors
· Will engage with parks on concerns
· Lease for the ECD in Bo-Kaap was refused.
Subcouncil commended Ms Mrubata for her excellent work.
