Resolution detail
Mr. Tasso Evangelinos and Stephen Willenburg attended the meeting and gave the following feedback:
Experienced the return to work/office and town was slowly filling up on a daily basis. It was also a time of innovation and entrepreneurship within the organisation.
CCID is working on the following projects:
-
To revive local economy
-
Support property owners/tenants/residents.
-
Change perceptions and return to office
-
Budget on existing services
-
Create new services
-
Awareness of ATM scams ongoing without any support from surrounding businesses
-
New roll out of big projects of CCTV cameras, where it will work throughout loadshedding in the CBD
Financially we remain in good standing. We continue to navigate unchartered territory and economic difficulties-no clear blue print. We remain proactive and reactive to our changing environment and remain hands-on and relevant.
In closing, I would like to thank the City of Cape Town, our ward Cllr Ian McMahon and Matthew Kempthorne, Subcouncil 16 Chairperson, SAPS, Western Cape Government and NGO partners. Thank you”
