RESOLVED that:

The members SUPPORTED the lease of Public Place, Erf 106641 Cape Town,
situated on Surran Road, Newfields, shown hatched and lettered ABCD, DCEF
and BGHE on the attached plan 130008414 marked annexure A, in extent
approximately ±138m², ±136m² and ±273m² to Margaret Elizabeth Williams,
Wahaaj Gassiep, Zainab Mallick and Mark Nicodemus Bowers, respectively or
their successors in title, be approved subject to inter alia the following
conditions:
a) A tariff rental is applicable as follows: Margaret Elizabeth Williams – R1 300.00 per annum including VAT
calculated at the rate applicable at the time of transaction be payable.
Rates not applicable; Wahaaj Gassiep and Zainab Mallick - R1 300.00 per annum including
VAT calculated at the rate applicable at the time of transaction be
payable. Rates not applicable; Mark Nicodemus Bowers – R1 950.00 per annum including VAT
calculated at the rate applicable at the time of transaction be payable.
Rates not applicable;
b) The respective leases will endure for a period of 10 (ten) years;
c) The respective rentals will be adjusted annually in terms of the rental tariff
structure as approved by Council;
d) The property be used for gardening and security purposes only;
e) Subject to such further conditions to be imposed by the Director: Property
Management in terms of his/her delegated authority;
f) Subject to compliance with any other statutory requirements;
g) No compensation will be payable for any improvement made to the
property.
