The Subcouncil manager introduced the report and asked the official to take the meeting through. Cllr Adams asked which criteria are they going to use in identifying NGO that are eligible for this process are they going to utilize the Subcouncil Community Organisations Database and are they going to check on organisations that are already operating in the area. Ms. Jacobs –Williams said that they will be in contact with the subcouncil office in getting information on registered NPO and also there is a criteria that they will be checking. Cllr Moses said that the item need to be deferred back as it was discussed with the Executive Director regarding this item and he was surprised that it was tabled in the Subcouncil meeting. He also mentioned that there is information that was raised with the Director and needed clarity on them. Cllr Cassiem supported the motion to have the item deferred for further consultation. There was unanimous agreement with the resolution. RESOLVED That the report on Report advising Subcouncil 14 of a Social Development Services Facility next to the Heideveld ECD Center (ERF 100836) that the SocialDevelopment and Early Childhood Development (SD&ECD) Department will be leasing to a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) offering social development services to the community of Heideveld following an open call for business plans be DEFERRED. .
