Resolution detail

The Subcouncil Manager introduced the report on Progressive Capital Expenditure: June 2020 (Provisional) and mentioned that some of the spending will reflect in the report for July 2020 and there are officials available in the meeting if the councillors have questions of clarity.

 

Mr. Cedras mentioned that all their projects are 100% and completed.

Mr. Bidla mentioned the equipment for Endlovini Community Hall is completed and Elukhanyisweni Community Hall has balance and that was communicated with the councillor.

Ward 39 – The official Rene Ferreira and Cllr Yozi are in communication with about the complications they are experiencing at Millers Camp

Ward 41 – Everything both and the percentage will increase as some of the items were delivered.

Cllr Manata welcomed the report and that at Ikhwezi Upgrade the turf was stolen but they recovered the turf and he would the department to harden the security at the hall and also she will also ask the community to be on the lookout about all illegal activities happening.

Cllr Yozi said that at KTC Community hall upgrade there were funds that was secured for fixing of the Hall but there was a hold up because of the pandemic.

Cllr Ngxumza indicated that the Health Awareness programme as it was a stressing project and the department was not assisting with the implementation. He saw the email the manager sent regarding the balances. He wanted the manager to clarify whether the amount shown would be the final balance. The manager indicated that this appears to be the case.

Cllr Zondani said that Project Managers should inform Ward Councillors when contractors are tasked to their wards as some of the issues gets stopped because
