The Manager informed the members of the current status of both Capital and Operating Ward Allocation projects’ expenditure as reflected on SAP and PCER

• CPX.0006973-F1 -Ward 46 traffic calming Arries road project complete balance to be rolled over

• CPX.0004312-F1 Hanover Park Synthetic Pitch, Legal services was instructed to terminate the contractors contract and further more to apply set off with respect to any money owed to City or due to contractor and to continue with the restriction of contractor in terms of the abuse policy. Legal Services has submitted the Authority to terminate and it will be forwarded to the Line Department once all signatures have been obtained.
• Cllr Moses informed the members that after the previous day Subcouncil site visit to the Heideveld library, he was informed by the librarian that the air condition units has been vandalised. Cllr Moses said that he requested that the Vendor to add extra piping and installs the air condition in a controlled space.
• Cllr van der Rheede said we need to have a standard operating procedure in high risk areas when erecting air condition units to eradicate wasteful expenditure.
• Cllr Moses asked Director Solomons Johannes to take up the following matters of incomplete projects with the relevant Departments and officials e.g. 5 a side soccer pitch not completed as yet and outstanding CRU issue. He said that he will send relevant email to the Director.
