Resolution details

UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
a. The relaxation of the 5m street building line along Faure Marine Drive, to 0m, to regularize an existing building BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A hereto.

b. The relaxation of the 3,5m street building line along Ulex Road, to 1m, to regularize an existing building BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A hereto.


c. The relaxation of the 3m common boundary building line applicable to buildings exceeding 4m in height, adjoining Erf 1222, to 0m, to regularize an existing building BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A hereto.

d. The relaxation of the 3m common boundary building line applicable to buildings exceeding 4m in height, adjoining Erf 2560, to 0m, to regularize an existing building BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A hereto.

REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report and agreed to amend reasons7.4 as follows:

7.4 The proposal is in keeping with the character of the surrounding residential environment, where similar departures have been approved in the past.
