UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
8.1 The application for a permanent departure for relaxation of the 3m common building line (adjacent Erf 11077) to 0m to permit a lapa BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
8.2 The application for a permanent departure for relaxation of the 3m common building line (adjacent Erf 11077) to 1.038m to permit the lapa BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
8.3 The application for a permanent departure for relaxation of the 3m common building line (adjacent Erf 11077) to 1.038m to permit the canopy BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
8.4 The application for a permanent departure for a carport encroaching the 5m building line to 3.5m along Lochner Street BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
RESOLVED BY 4 votes to 1 that:
8.5 The application for a permanent departure for a second carriageway crossing along Lochner Street BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report and agreed to the following changes:

Department: TIA and Development Control supported the proposed street building line departures and the second carriageway crossing from a traffic safety perspective.
