Resolution details

UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
a. The application for a regulation departure from the Development Management Scheme for Erf 12183, Somerset West, to permit the relaxation of the 3m rear building line to 1m for a proposed second dwelling above the garage, as reflected on plan no 12183SW_CS01_01 – 04 dd 2022/06/16, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015

b. The application for a regulation departure from the Development Management Scheme for Erf 12183, Somerset West, to permit the relaxation of the 4m height restriction for an outbuilding within the common building line to 6,495m, as reflected on plan no 12183SW_CS01_01 – 04 dd 2022/06/16, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015

c. The application for a regulation departure from the Development Management Scheme for Erf 12183, Somerset West, to permit the relaxation of the 3m common building line (adjoining Erf 12182) to 0m to regularise additions to the main dwelling (entertainment room), as reflected on plan no 12183SW_CS01_01 – 04 dd 2022/06/16, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015

The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report and agreed to:
