Resolution detail

The Subcouncil Manager introduced the report of Service Requests in Subcouncil 14. A total of 4050 notifications were created during the period in question for areas within Subcouncil 14 geographical area. Of these 4123 were completed, 273 are in process and 220 notifications were outstanding. Cllr Adams said that Ward 40 is still low on the C3 notification report and this is a concern. Mr. Daniels said that the water services is the highest and it reflects the problem we have across the subcouncil area with the sewer and there has been interventions with the management of the line department and it remains a constant need of progress report from the line department.

Cllr Adams said that he received an email with Cllr Badroodien regarding the notification logged are closed but no job has been done and especially the water service department.

Cllr Nikelo said that there was a site meeting in Ward 40 with officials and it is painful that this is still a problem to date and would like the officials to be invited in the next activities day meeting for them to account and give timeframes on how are they going to solve the problems of sewer in the subcouncil area.
