RESOLVED TO RECOMMEND |
It is recommended that the lease of a portion of a public road, being a portion of remainder Erf 6 situated at Algoa Road, Durbanville shown hatched and lettered ABCD on sketch 130008983v1 marked annexure A, in extent approximately 113m², to Gerhard Hanekom and Renate Lydia Hanekom, owner of Erf 2960 or his successor in title, be approved subject, to inter alia the following conditions, that:

A tariff rental of R1 180.00 per annum excluding VAT calculated at the rate applicable at the time of transaction be payable. Rates not applicable;

The lease will endure for a period of 10 years;

The rental will be adjusted annually in terms of the rental tariff structure as approved by Council;

The property be used for garden and security purposes only;
-
Subject to such further conditions imposed by the Director: Property Management in terms of her delegated authority;
-
Subject to compliance with any other statutory requirements;
-
No compensation will be payable for any improvement made to the property;
-
All outstanding accounts with the City of Cape Town be settled
FURTHER RECOMMENDED

i) That no building or construction work be allowed on the leased portion, being a portion of remainder Erf 6, situated at Algoa Road, Durbanville. .
