It was recommended that the lease of portions of City-owned land, being portions of Erf 22117 Parow, situated at Malmesbury Road, Kleinbosch, Parow, as shown hatched and lettered ABC and CDEF on the Plan No 130009000 attached and marked Annexure A, in extent approximately 6m² and 90m² respectively, to Charles Heyns Familie Trust, the owners of the adjacent Erf 22116 Parow, or their successors-in-title, be approved subject to inter alia the following conditions, that:

A tariff rental of R566,09 per annum, excluding VAT calculated at the rate applicable at the time of transaction, be payable. Rates not applicable;

The rental will be adjusted annually in terms of the rental tariff structure as approved by Council;

The lease will endure for a period of ten years, with an option to renew for a further period;

Subject to such further conditions to be imposed by the Director: Property Management in terms of her delegated authority;

Subject to compliance with any other statutory requirements;

The property may only be used for garden and security purposes and for no other purpose whatsoever;
-
No compensation will be payable for any improvement made to the property;

No permanent structures may be erected on the property.
