RESOLVED that:
An administrative penalty in the amount of R 3 000.00 to BE DETERMINED in terms of Section 98(b) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 for the unlawful storage area, pool, foyer and conversion of a garage to a bedroom in respect of Erf 8054, 17 Drama Street in accordance with plan no. Ssw 8054 Revision 00, dated February 2020.

REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report and agreed to amend reason 2 as follows:

The owner was not honest in providing information on the duration of the contraventions. This misrepresentation warrants a larger penalty

The duration of the contravention is considered to be long.
