UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
a. The consent use for a guesthouse on erf 159, Melkbosch Strand BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 in accordance with plan no. DGW159MB/2b dated 06 February 2020, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
b. The permanent departure to allow 2 parking bays in lieu of 14 parking bays on erf 159, Melkbosch Strand BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 in accordance with plan no. DGW159MB/2b dated 06 February 2020, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
c. City approval to operate a guesthouse on erf 159, Melkbosch Strand within the Koeberg Restriction Area Overlay Zoning BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report.
