UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
The application in terms of Section 42(i) – to permit the increase in the fence height in a Scenic Drive Overlay Zone and to allow a geyser screening of 280mm above the scenic driveway on Erf 2044 Green Point as set out in Annexure A, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.

REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report and agreed to add the following reasons:

6. Both Urban Design and Heritage Departments’ are supportive of the proposal
7. The fence is permeable and does not undermine the overall intent of the Scenic Drive Policy

Amend Annexure A:
1.1 To permit the increase in the fence height to 1.6m in lieu of 1.2m, in a Scenic Drive Overlay Zone and to allow a geyser screening of 280mm above the scenic driveway
