UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
a. Application for the relaxation of the street building line to allow for the proposed retaining wall, bin storage and staircase to be located at 0m and 2.35m respectively in lieu of 3.5m along Amaryllis Street BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
b. Application for the relaxation of the permissible garage width to allow for the proposed two double garage to be 11.29m wide in lieu of 6.5m BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
c. Application for the relaxation of the permissible window placement in order to allow for the proposed kitchen and bathroom windows to be located at 0.9m and 1.14m from the common boundary in lieu of 1.5m BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
d. Application for the relaxation of the permitted retaining wall height in order to retain the proposed swimming pool by a 2.9m high retaining structure in lieu of 2m BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
e. Application for departure to permit the ground floor level of the building to be raised 2.6m in lieu of 1.5m above the existing ground floor level BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report.
