Resolution details

UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
The removal/deletion of restrictive conditions of title [conditions I.D.(b) and II. D.(b), as contained in deed of title No. T64937/2016], so as to allow for a use of Erf 12631, corner of Da Gama and Roux Street, Strand, other than residential be approved in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015;


REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the following reasons:

1. Their removal is beneficial to the interest of the area in that it will pave the way for the establishment of medical facilities;
2. Their removal will facilitate the efficient utilisation of land resources and services infrastructure;
3. Their removal is in the interest of the public;
4. Their removal will not cause the nature and character of the area to be compromised;
5. Their removal will add to the overall value of the property;
6. Their removal will facilitate better use of the property;
7. Their removal will not deprive any person of property;
