Prepaid electricity meter update project<span> <h2 class="sectHeading">About ​​​​​​​</h2></span> <p>We will be rolling-out the meter updates in phases according to a <a href="https://resource.capetown.gov.za/documentcentre/Documents/Procedures%2c%20guidelines%20and%20regulations/Token_Identifier_Roll-Out_Plan_Key_Change_Token_Project_Schedule.pdf" target="_blank">schedule</a>. Once your area is due for the update you will receive two update codes with your next electricity purchase. </p><p>If you do not receive update codes with your electricity purchase then we have not yet reached your area.  </p> <span> <div class="notification with-heading dark-copy pink bg-light-grey"><div class="graphic with-border"> <i class="info note">​​​</i> </div><div class="desc"><h4>Please note</h4><p> The meter update process is completed per area as per the schedule. Enter the <strong>first 20 digits </strong>for the update token and wait for it to accept. <br>2. Enter the <strong>second 20 digits </strong>for the update token and wait for it to accept. <br>3.
