RESOLVED that,
the application for extension of liquor licence trading hours received from reference no WCP/041931 Woolworths (Harbour Bay, Simon’s Town) for the extension of liquor trading hours be REFUSED for:
a) Monday to Saturday from 18:00 to 20:00, and
b) Sunday from 11:00 to 18:00 for off-consumption purposes.
for the following reasons:
a) the proximity of the licensed premises to surrounding residential zoned area.
b) Not supported by civic organisations and ward committees.
c) Not in the public interest.
d) No motivation given to the impact risks and nuisances.
