Subcouncil 24 supports the recommendation that:
It is RECOMMENDED that the motion submitted by Councillor Victor Isaacs BE SUPPORTED and that Subcouncil 24 engage with the Electricity Department to investigate and install street lights in Alt, Doh, Me, George, Gershwin and Lah Streets, Macassar. . |

Activity Day Meeting – 6 October 2021
Goodman Rorwana reported that he spoke with Busisiwe Paliso of Electricity Department who indicated that she came back from leave and that some of her colleagues were also on leave and requested to have a special meeting where she can respond to all her electricity MRA’s issues as she is also not present in today’s meeting.
The Chairperson stated that it would not be necessary to have a special meeting but if Ms Paliso can provide detail written responses on all her MRA’s to the Subcouncil.

MATTERS RECEIVING ATTENTION - WARD 109
The Subcouncil Manager explained that Ward 109 was previously part of Subcouncil 24 and therefore all the matters receiving attention was carried over to Subcouncil 21. Cllr Helfrich, the ward councillor of ward 109 said that these matters can be dealt with directly with the line departments and therefore proposed that it be closed. |
