RESOLVED ON 18 MARCH 2019 Ms Hermanus reported that the flooding matters were addressed in the presentation from Mr J Terblanche and Deon Botha and the adhoc gulley cleaning programme was forwarded to all councillors. The meeting agreed that the matter remains on the Matters Receiving Attention. RESOLVED That the item remains on the Matters Receiving Attention until resolved. FOR ACTION: DEON BOTHA

RESOLVED ON 18 FEBRUARY 2019 Ms N Hermanus said that Mr A Lee of the Water and Sanitation Department will do a presentation on their Master Plan on 18 February 2019 at 14:00 after the Subcouncil meeting. The gulley and Ad-Hoc cleaning programmes received from Ms J Du Preez of TDA was sent to all Councillors for noting. RESOLVED That Mr A Lee do a presentation on the Department’s Master Plan on 18 February 2019 at 14:00 after the Subcouncil meeting. That the item remains on the Matters Receiving Attention until resolved. ACTION: PAT JANSEN

RESOLVED ON 21 JANUARY 2019 No feedback could be provided. Cllr Visser expressed her dissatisfaction that neither the gulley cleaning programme nor the flooding report was submitted to the Subcouncil meeting. Cllr Rau said a commitment was made to the residents of Ravensmead and Uitsig that feedback will be provided on the short and long term plans on the flooding in the areas. The councillor recommended that a meeting be arranged with TDA officials and affected Ward Councillors to regarding the short and long term plan for Ravensmead and Uitsig. RESOLVED That the gulley cleaning programme be forwarded to all councillors. That a meeting be arranged with TDA officials and the affected Ward Councillors to provide feedback on the short and long term plans for Ravensmead and Uitsig. ACTION: PAT JANSEN

RESOLVED ON 19 NOVEMBER 2018 Ms Jansen reported that the report is still outstanding and Ms Jeanine du Preez omitted to submit the report. Cllr Visser said the community is also waiting on report and feedback from the line department regarding the flooding. Ms Jansen undertook to arrange a meeting between Cllrs Visser and Rau and Ms Du Preez and Mr D Botha to obtain feedback on the matter. RESOLVED That the item remains on the Matters Receiving Attention until resolved. That a meeting be arranged between Cllrs Visser and Rau and Ms Du Preez and Mr D Botha to obtain feedback on the flooding issues. FOR INFORMATION: JEANINE DU PREEZ

RESOLVED ON 15 OCTOBER 2018 Ms Jansen reported that the report will be submitted to the November 2018 subcouncil meeting. Ms J Du Preez submitted the gulley cleaning programme and the programme was distributed to all councilors at the meeting. RESOLVED ON 17 SEPTEMBER 2018 Ms Jansen reported that no further feedback was received from TDA. The chairperson requested that a meeting be arranged with Mr Deon Botha and Jeanine Du Preez regarding the timelines for the short to medium term remedial plans. Cllr Visser requested that the gulley cleaning programme be forwarded to all councillors. RESOLVED a) That the item remains on the Matters Receiving Attention until resolved. b) That a meeting be arranged with Mr Botha and Ms Du Preez to discuss the timelines of the short and medium term remedial plans. c) That the gulley cleaning programme for the area for forwarded to all councillors FOR INFORMATION: JEANINE DU PREEZ

RESOLVED ON 14 AUGUST 2018 a) That the contents of the report dealing with the flood events that occurred in Uitsig, Cravenby and Ravensmead as well as immediate reactive measures undertaken BE NOTED. b) That the proposed short- and medium-term solutions as far as rehabilitation and flood mitigation measures are concerned BE NOTED. c) That the status regarding public liability claims lodged with the City of Cape Town BE NOTED. d) That the gulley cleaning programme be forwarded to Subcouncil 6 and all Councillors. e) That the report be added to the Matters Receiving Attention to get regular feedback and progress on the interventions to resolve the flooding matter.
