DISCUSSION: Cllr Uys put her motion as reflected on page 64 of the agenda.
All members were in support of the motion.
The motion as PROPOSED by Cllr Uys was CARRIED.
UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED
That due process be followed by the relevant line departments for Erf 7742-Re, Odendaal Road, Aurora, currently zoned as POS, to BE REZONED to Single Residential and sold via public auction for development purposes in line with the Council’s MSDF.

Your request for update of Erf 7742-re Property Transaction refers.
Kindly note,
1. We have initiated the process to dispose the subject property.
2. We have since completed: (1) technical investigations of the property; (2) departmental circulation and (3) we have recently received the valuation report of the property.
3. The next step is to obtain the authorisation to advertise the Property Transaction for public comment, then advertisement, followed by a report to Subcouncil 7 for comment. We anticipate that the aforementioned report to Subcouncil 7, will be submitted within the 1st quarter of 2019.
