pending from Mr Garth Elliot, who was currently not available.
Cllr Southgate expressed concern that when one person was not available, everything stopped. He requested that the matter be escalated
for feedback.

Mr Richard White, Subcouncil Manager, advised that he requested a formal response from TDA and there has been no response thus far.
Cllr Southgate further advised that he received an email about the matter but was of the view that more motivation should be given for recommending that the road not be closed. He enquired from the Subcouncil Manager if public participation was required since the recommendation was for refusal. Mr White advised that it would not be necessary once reasons were given.

Subcouncil 20 endorses that a formal response be obtained about the road closure in Monty Road, Southfield.

Mr White stated that he had received an email on 17 January 2019 that has sufficient information that he can present to Cllr Southgate as to why the department denied the communities proposal for the road to be closed.
Cllr Southgate stated that the contents of the email relates to 2014 and the position of the department has not change since. However, there is a problem property in that road which is at the core of the reason for the road closure and due to the crime that it causes.
The department needs to reevaluate the factors for the proposal of the road as the last report was done five years ago.
RESOLVED TO RECOMMEND
It is requested that the department reevaluates the factors regarding the road closure at Monty Road as the last report was written 5 years ago.
