(f) That a report BE SUBMITTED regarding the Stormwater and Sewerage Matter for Subcouncil 8. Mr de Villiers reported as follows: His office is busy drafting the report requested by the Subcouncil at previous meeting and he informed that a meeting was scheduled with Bulk Water to request for a cut into existing water line and this request was successful as they are permitting the department to cut into existing mainstream. Consultants are currently busy drafting communication to address the said matter. The current obstacle that has to be addressed is that of funding as t the funding for a project in this matter is insufficient. He furthermore informed the meeting that the project’s duration is a 2-year period and the project might only be in effect as of April or May 2019. With reference to the sewerage enquiry, it is a separate matter that needs to be addressed with the relevant department – Water and Sanitation. Chairperson requested for the 2 interventions to be dealt with as a parallel process. INFORMATION: ALL ACTION: DENNIS DE VILLIERS / GRAHAM ALEXANDER
