Ward 48 Cllr Davids was happy to report that most if not all of his projects were completed. Ward 49 C14.00035-F1 Upgrade of Athlone Stadium – Mr Newman: Priority Assets reported that the contractors were on site and that there was a slight delay as the manufacturing of the tanks took place on site. He said that the project will be completed by the end of June 2018. CPX.0010154-F1 Landscaping – Bhunga Avenue – Mr Cedras of Recreation and Parks reported an additional R100000 has been secured by the project manager from the line department’s budget for this project. He said that the construction of the embayments was completed. He informed the meeting that the project manager for this project was now a TDA official and he would have to get update reports from that official. Cllr R Adams also expressed his satisfaction that his projects were completed or almost completed. Ward 60 Cllr Kleinschmidt stated that he also was satisfied with the expenditure progress of his projects and that the balance of R18 290 was for salaries for the Park Attendants which still needed to be paid. RESOLVED that: The content of the Progressive Capital Expenditure: May 2018 be NOTED. ACTION: Zimlo Lalendle
