RESOLVED
Subcouncil supports the recommendation that:
That the motion submitted by Cllr G Peck be supported and that the Sub council approach the Recreation & Parks Department to investigate the establishing of a laterite path for runners and walkers to exercise as well as a soccer field in the centre of the circular path for children to play soccer and cricket, in the area between Paardevlei, Helderzicht, Victoria Park and Lourentia Park.
Motivation: The field can be watered from water in the Melck Sloot. The area is currently not used. Dumping of waste and illegal activities take place in this area. If it is used by the residents to exercise and children to play sport, the area will be greatly improved for all the residents.
MOVER: CLL G PECK and SECONDED by CLLR D KHATSHWA and with no OBJECTIONS to the motion.

Cllr Peck stated that R9000 has been rolled over in order to finish off the meter and putting a cover over it to lock it and the rest of the money has been well spent and requested to remove the item.

That the item be REMOVED from the MRA’s as the project has been completed.
