Resolution detail

Mr Richard Holdstock briefed the meeting in respect of the report. Cllr Diamond stated that the Grand Parade posed challenges in terms of traders on either side of Texies fisheries. The traders create a very unsafe path and it is very difficult to navigate through those channels. It is blocking off access to the Grand Parade. The traders need to be replaced, taken away from the front edges. Cllr Golding pointed out the four (4) trading bays in Buitenkant and two in Harrington Streets fall in Ward 115. He also stated that the trading bays in Rose Street are not included. UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that: a) the Informal Trading Overview report be NOTED. b)The issues raised about the Grand Parade as well as Buitenkant and Harrington Streets be addressed.
