Mr Kajabo Ngendahimana represented the Planning Department.
An interview was granted for both the applicant and objector.
The objector, Mr Nicholas Smith motivated the objection as per Addendum B. Proposed comments were submitted. See Addendum B1.
The applicant, Mr Tommy Brümmer motivated the application by way of a presentation: See Addendum C.
The Subcouncil members expressed their support for the amended conditions.
UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that the following be supported:
1. Departures:
a) Section 5.1.2 (c)(i): To permit the heights from the base levels to the wall plates and top of roofs, for the three divisions, to be as follows:
(i) Vertical division 1: a wall plate height of 9.39m in lieu of 9m.
b) Section 5.1.2)d): To permit the proposed domestic staff quarters and swimming pool, on the ground and first storeys, to be 1,26m in lieu of 3,5m from the street boundary (Strathmore Road).
c) Section 5.1(f)(iii): To permit the proposed garage to be 3,5m in lieu of 5,0m from the street boundary (Strathmore Road).
2. City approval:
Section 6.2.3 read with Section 8.1.4: To erect a second dwelling on the property.
