Subcouncil 20 notes that in considering the Subdelegation Rule Part 24 4(1), the Subcouncil Manager in conjunction with the Chairperson and Ward Councillor recommended that the application for a liquor licence received from Constantia Uitsig Farm, Erf 9795, Constantia Uitsig Farm Shop 5, Constantia, Uitsig, Spaanschemat River Road, Constantia, for the sale of liquor for Consumption OFF premises, Reference No LLA1710004 NOT BE SUPPORTED, as the use is a micro-brewery. If the licence type was for beer/malt only it would be supported by the Subcouncil and the City of Cape Town’s Planning and Building Development Management Department as it would be in line with the proposed use.
