It was proposed that a condition be added that measures be put in place to prevent sleeping overnight at the facility. UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED to RECOMMEND that the portion of Remainder Erf 1860 Hout Bay on the sketch Plan LIS1765, marked ABLJK and CDEFGHJ as per attached Annexure “A” in extent 212m² BE LEASED to The Peace and Mediation Forum (PMF): It is recommended that the above lease be approved subject to inter alia the following conditions that: a)A tariff rental of R835.96 per annum exclusive of VAT and rates be payable b)The lease will endure for a period of 9 years and 11 months; c) The property to be utilised as an advice office and soup kitchen; d)Subject to such further conditions to be imposed by the Director: Property Management in terms of her delegated authority; e) Subject to compliance with any other statutory requirements; f)No compensation will be payable from any improvement made to the property, with or without the consent of Council, should the lease be terminated for any reason whatsoever g)Measures be put in place to prevent sleeping overnight at the facility.
