RESOLVED ON 18 SEPTEMBER 2017 Ms Jansen said she received a response from the line department but would suggest that the item be held in abeyance and in terms of Rule 17.4 of the Rules of Order for Subcouncil meetings, Ms Jansen further advised that Rules 21.1 and 21.3 of the Rules of Order be considered for further discussions on this matter as the item has financial and legal implications. The meeting agreed that the item be removed from the matters receiving attention and that a meeting be arranged with the line department to resolve the issue. FOR ACTION: PAT JANSEN/PETER STRUMPHER RESOLVED ON 16 AUGUST 2017 a) That the Property Management Department be requested to investigate the City’s rights in terms of Title Deed T30925/1996 and transfer of Erf 26399 Bellville back to the City. b) That the development of Erf 26399 and adjacent Erf 14150 Bellville be investigated for social housing purposes by TDA: Human Settlement Implementation.
