UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED to RECOMMEND that the lease of portion of public open place, being a portion of Erf 10 Camps Bay situated at the Camps Bay Drive, Camps Bay, shown hatched and lettered ABCDEFG on the plan STC 2332 marked Annexure A attached to the report, in extent approximately 841m², to Guido Renato Giachetti, owner of the Erf 120 Camps Bay, or his successors in title, BE APPROVED subject to inter alia the following conditions, that: a) A tariff rental of R2 373.68 per annum excluding VAT of 14% where applicable, being R332.32 ( in total – R2 706) be payable; b) The lease will endure for a period of ten years; c) The rental will adjusted annually in terms of the rental tariff structure as approved by Council d) The property be used for gardening purposes only; e) Subject to such further conditions to be imposed by the Director: Property Management in terms of her delegated authority; f) Subject to compliance with any other statutory requirements; g) No compensation will be payable for any improvement made to the property. h) The objections are not upheld.
