Meeting date: 22 June 2017 • Goodman Rorwana reported that himself, Cllr Khatshwa had a meeting with the Brigadier at his office in Site B, Khayelitsha and construction will take place in 2019. • Cllr Khatshwa was in doubt to remove the matter from the MRA and raised concern that initially this project was supposed to have started in 2017/18 then it was changed and just worried that every time it comes closer to implementing then it changes. • The Chairperson suggested that a response was received that construction will commence in 2018/2019 and closer to the time that Cllr Khatshwa request an update/progress report. RESOLVED That the item be REMOVED from the MRA and closer to the time that an update report be requested. Meeting date: 17 March 2017 RESOLVED That the motion submitted by the Cllr D Khatshwa be supported and that the Subcouncil approach the Provincial Department to provide a report on the plans for the Makhaza Police Station.
