Resolution details

UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
a. The application for the Subdivision of Erf 7742, Somerset West into 2 portions, namely Portion A (±1002m²) and Portion B (±1000m²) as depicted on the Subdivision Plan Erf 7742, Somerset West dated February 2024, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.

b. Registration of a 3m wide services servitude along the south-western boundary, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.

REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report

Annexure A:
Amend condition 2.19 as follows:
2.19 That in accordance with the Subdivision Plan, the proposed development be restricted to:
2 x SR1 Zoned Erven
Any further amendments to the Plan, once approved, which might lead to an increase in the number of erven/units, must be submitted for approval prior to building plan approval and will result in the calculation of the Development Charges based on the amended plan
