RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY that:
a. The application for Council’s approval in terms of Item 126(a) of the Development Management Scheme for unregistered Erf 92 (portion Erf 28) Misty Cliffs, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
b. The application for departures for unregistered Erf 92 (portion Erf 28) Misty Cliffs, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
REASONS FOR DECISION:
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the planner’s report, except reasons 7.1.8 and 7.1.10 which are amended as follows:
7.1.8 The proposal will not have an impact on heritage resources
7.1.10 The proposal will not have a negative transport impact. Sufficient space on Old Camp Road (which is a cul-de-sac and carries very little traffic) is available to provide safe parking for the dwelling house. The Transport Planning Department has no objection.
