RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY that:
a. The application for rezoning of Remainder Erf 65915 Cape Town at Kenilworth, from Single Residential Zone 1 to Community Zone 2, BE APPROVED in terms Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to conditions contained in Annexure A.
a. The application for departures, as contained in Annexure A, for Remainder Erf 65915 Cape Town at Kenilworth, BE APPROVED in terms Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
b. The application for the cancellation of an approved plan of subdivision, LUM/00/65915, for Remainder Erf 65915 Cape Town at Kenilworth, BE APPROVED in terms Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
c. The application for subdivision (registration of servitudes) over Remainder Erf 65915 and Erf 63651, as per plan of servitude, LUM/00/65915A, BE APPROVED in terms Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
REASONS FOR DECISION:
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the planner’s report except reason 7.1.3 which is amended as follows:
7.1.3 The proposal is of an appropriate nature, scale and form that relates to the broader urban fabric.
