UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
a. The consent use to permit a guest house with a maximum of five (5) guest bedrooms on erf 14763, Table View (Milnerton), BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions set out in Annexure A;
b. The regulation departure to permit the a 13m carriageway crossing in lieu of 8m in respect of erf 14763, Table View (Milnerton), as per Annexure C, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions set out in Annexure A;
c. The regulation departure to permit 7 parking bays in lieu of 8.25 on-site parking bays in respect of erf 14763, Table View (Milnerton) BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions set out in Annexure A.
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report.
Amend Annexure A:
1.1. Consent in terms of item 21(c) of the DMS to permit a guest house in a Single Residential (SR1) zone.
1.2. Departure from item 140(2)(c) to permit a proposed carriageway crossing to be 13m in lieu of 8m.
1.3. Departure from item 138(b) to permit 7 in lieu of 8 on-site parking bays.
Delete 2.3
Add new:
That 4 shade trees are to be planted according to the landscape plan approximately on the 3.5m building line and to be positioned on either side of guest bays 1 and 4
