UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
a. The application for permanent departure to permit two carports to be setback 0m in lieu of 1.5m from Eighth Street in respect of erf 22256, Kensington BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
b. The application for permanent departure to permit a floor factor of 1.049 in lieu of 1 in respect of erf 22256, Kensington BE APPROVED d in terms of Section 98(b) of the Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
c. The application to permit a height of 7.225m in lieu of 4m in respect of erf 22256, Kensington BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
d. The application for City approval to permit a carriageway crossing to be 12.5m in lieu of 6.5m wide in respect of erf 22256, Kensington BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report.

Delete paragraph heading ‘Application Refused’ as all four recommendations were approved in full
