After panel discussion, it was agreed that this application be REFERRED BACK in order for the applicant and objector to possibly seek common ground regarding affordable rentals. The case officer was also requested to re-assess the application in terms of spatial consistency, spatial compliance and desirability.
Note: The absence of a Council Policy with regard to affordable housing was noted.
