UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
An administrative penalty in the amount of R 500.00 BE DETERMINED in terms of Section 129 of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 in respect of Erf 519, 61 Forest Drive, Pinelands.
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report and agreed to amend as follows:
1st bullet: The removal of the trees within the HPOZ in this particular instance is not considered to negatively affect the character of the surrounding area.
2nd bullet: The extent of the contravention is indicated in photographs and is low key.
