UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
a. The application for departures from the Development Management Scheme, as set out in Annexure A, for Erf 2325, Oranjezicht, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, in accordance with Annexure C.
b. The application for a relaxation of title deed conditions, as set out in Annexure A, for Erf 2325, Oranjezicht, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, in accordance with Annexure C.
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report and agreed to add:
7.1.7 The proposal is considered to be desirable and satisfies all the assessment criteria contained in Section 99 of the Municipal Planning By-Law, as listed in paragraph 6.1 and 6.2 of the report.
Amend Annexure A:
1.1 Item 22 (d): To permit the proposed building additions at ground storey (water storage tank) to be set back 1.0m in lieu of 4.5m from the street boundary
1.2 Item 22 (d): To permit the proposed building additions at ground storey (entrance/security kiosk and planters) to be set back 0,0 m in lieu of 4.5m from the street boundary.
Note: As discussed, the relevant Official shall send an amended Annexure A via the office of the Secretariat for circulation to the panel members for approval
