UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
a. The consent use in terms of Item 21(c) of the Development Management Scheme to permit a guest house on erf 4071, Milnerton, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)(iii) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
b. The departure to permit six (6) parking bays in lieu of 11 parking bays in connection with the consent use on erf 4071, Milnerton, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)(iii) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions set out in Annexure A.
c. The departure to permit the existing carriage way crossing to be a combined entrance and exit way of 8,76m in lieu of 8m for erf 4071, Milnerton, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)(iii) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
d. The regulation departure to permit the southern common boundary to be 1.5m in lieu of 3m to enable the conversion of a garage into guest rooms, on erf 4071, Milnerton, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)(iii) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
e. The regulation departure to permit an additional carriage way crossing on erf 4071, Milnerton, BE REFUSED in terms of Section 98(c) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT partially APPROVED and partially REFUSED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report
Amend Annexure A:
3.4 That a maximum of 18 paying guests or lodgers shall be permitted at any one time
Add new:
Provision must be made for a manager to reside onsite
