Resolution details

UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
a. The proposed amendment of the site development plan and housing type to permit the enclosure of the existing covered patio on erf 746, Blaauwbergstrand, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, in accordance with plan no: HB-01-01 dated 13 August 2018, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A;

b. The proposed amendment of the site development plan and housing type to permit the construction of a 21m² bedroom, covered balcony and chimney with braais on erf 746, Blaauwbergstrand, as per Annexure C, BE REFUSED in terms of Section 98(c) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015; and

c. The deviation from The Ridge Design Guidelines to permit a covered balcony and chimney with braais within the 1,5m common building line, as per Annexure C, on erf 746, Blaauwbergstrand, BE REFUSED in terms of Section 98(c) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015

REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT partially APPROVED and partially REFUSED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report
