UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
a. The rezoning of erf 6051, Parklands, Milnerton from General Residential Subzone GR2 to General Business Subzones GB1 BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)(iii) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
b. The consent use to permit a service station on erf 6051, Parklands, Milnerton BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)(iii) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
c. City approval to allow for development within the Koeberg Density Overlay Zone BE APPROVED for erf 6051, Parklands, Milnerton in terms of Section 98(b)(iii) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A
d. The regulation departure to allow for development within the 5m street building line of erf 6051, Parklands, Milnerton BE APPROVED as set out in Annexure A in terms of Section 98(b)(iii) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
e. The regulation departure to allow parking within the 10m street building line of erf 6051, Parklands, Milnerton BE APPROVED as set out in Annexure A in terms of Section 98(b)(iii) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
f. A carriageway crossing of 10m for erf 6051, Parklands, Milnerton BE APPROVED as set out in Annexure A in terms of Section 98(b)(iii) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
g. The proposed site development plan for erf 6051, Parklands, Milnerton BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)(iii) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report
Amend Annexure A:
1.5 Departure to allow for a 1.5m building line along Kennington Street in lieu of 5m in accordance with plan: Engen Tryall Road; drawing number 1607-200; rev 3, dated 4 September 2017
