UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
a. The application for departures from the Overlay Zoning as contained in Annexure A, for Erf 2694 Camps Bay BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) in terms of Section of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A and in accordance with the plans in Annexure C.
b. The application for City approval in terms of the Overlay Zone as contained in Annexure A, for Erf 2694 Camps Bay BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) in terms of Section of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A and in accordance with the plans in Annexure C.
c. The application for City approval to permit demolition and building work within a Heritage Protection Overlay Zone as contained in Annexure A, for Erf 2694 Camps Bay BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A and in accordance with the plans in Annexure C.
d. The application for City’s consent in terms of the title deed conditions as contained in Annexure A, for Erf 2694 Camps Bay BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A and in accordance with the plans in Annexure C.
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report and agreed to amend reason 7.1.4:
The proposal will not negatively impact on the biophysical environment.
