UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
An administrative penalty in the amount of R 700.00 BE DETERMINED in terms of Section 98(b) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 in respect of the building work on Erf 22617, 18 Palmiet Crescent, Strand.
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report and agreed to amend reason 6.4:
The applicant is acting in good faith by attempting to rectify the contravention by means of the submission of building plans and application for determination of an administrative penalty.
